Event Sales with XS: Cash in Your Pocket!

Quixtar has made an amendment to the Retail Sales Rule, allowing IBOs to sell XS at specific types of temporary events with prior approval. The revised Booth and Event Sales Rule will allow you to make some money through product sales as part of a healthy and balanced business.

So which events will help you focus your time to maximize your success? First, keep in mind Quixtar’s request that product sold be consistent with the event’s theme. This is ideally suited to XS Energy Drinks, which are a perfect fit for so many types of events, including:

• Health Events
• Health Fairs
• Nutrition Expos
• Health Seminars
• Sporting Events
• High School /College Events
• Football, Basketball, Soccer, Volleyball, Baseball, etc.

To ensure this opportunity continues, and to protect your business, IBOs must follow five simple steps:

1. Get approval from the event sponsor
   
   Speak with the person who is in charge of approving vendors at your event. Get approval to set up your booth and sell XS. To maximize your exposure and profitability, try to get exclusivity as an energy-drink vendor.
   
   
2. Get approval from Quixtar
   
   Login to Quixtar.com and type “BES” (Booth & Event Sales) in the search box. You will find the required application to fill out and submit to Quixtar. You must submit your application at least 30 days prior to your event.
   
   
3. Get ready for your event
   
   Once you’ve been approved, Quixtar will send you an approval packet which includes an approval certificate, a CD-ROM containing product info, booth setup info, booth examples, FAQs, and downloadable merchandising materials such as signs, posters and cards. You can take these files to a copy shop to print professional-looking materials to support your event. Additionally, make sure you have all the materials necessary to run your booth such as coolers, change, proper staff, and XS Gear marketing items.
   
   
4. Host your event
   
   Take advantage of this opportunity by running a smooth professional event. Talk with people about XS Energy Drinks, make some sales, and look for new customers and IBOs. Also remember to post your approval certificate at your booth.
   
   
5. Report your event sales
   
   After your event, use the Customer Sales Activity (CSA) and Receipt Tool. This can be found on Quixtar.com.
