While In San Sebastian for the World Masters Athletic Championships I had a fortunate encounter. Stepping out of the sea-front hotel wearing my XS polo shirt, I was hailed from a nearby parked car. It was a Canandian athlete who, being an IBO, recognised the XS logo. He gave me one of the cans of Tropical Blast he had with him and I kept it until before my 20km walking race next day. Did it help me move through the field from 15th at halfway to 5th? "Probably the best Stimulation Drink in the world!" I treasure the can because ours in the UK do not have the word "ENERGIE" on them!!
