Step-by-Step, Booking Your Smoothie Event

Last year, we shared the tremendous success of IBO Vishaal Pandya and his team in the Success Stories section. You can read about their highly profitable Smoothie Events, and click on a related video, here.

In addition, here are some other pointers that Vishaal has generously passed along, based on his experience, regarding booking your own Smoothie Event:

Research events that are coming up in your area and be selective—you want to participate in those that yield the most profit. Is there a strong per-capita income for those who live in the area near the event location?

Keep it close to home: when handling large amounts of fresh fruit, you don’t want to travel far.

Contact the individual in charge of the event and:

·         Find out projected attendance and seek confirmation of past years’ attendance.

Because your ingredient purchases will be based on projected attendance, getting a realistic figure is extremely important. Emphasize this point to organizer.

·         Gather precise details on activities, such as a schedule of events

·         Explain that you have a great product that is among the most popular around

·         Find out if there is a vendor fee and/or if they are open to receiving a percentage of your profits.

Submit a professional, written proposal and submit a detailed contract that spells out your rights and responsibilities, as well as those of the event organizer.
